“Please know everything you do for Give Kids The World matters. I know our lives are changed forever.”
These words, spoken by wish mom Rebecca, brought the audience to a teary-eyed ovation at Give Kids The World’s 30th annual Black & White Gala on September 15.
“For one magical week you don’t have to worry about medical treatments, just fun,” said Rebecca. “You can’t be there and be in a bad mood.”
Along with wish kid Sam, Rebecca shared her family’s story with Gala guests, explaining just how much a week at the Village means to families like theirs.
