At Give Kids The World Village, we’re always working hard to make sure our families have everything they need during their stay. That’s why we’re excited to announce that our new hospitality suite is open and ready for families to enjoy!
With the help of our friends at Orange Lake Resorts and Holiday Inn Club Vacations – among other amazing partners – the new hospitality suite will be a place where families can relax and regroup between the time they check out of their villa and when they leave the Village to return home.
The suite is an expanded model of our standard villas with four themed rooms, created by the design team at Holiday Inn Club Vacations. There’s a princess room, an outdoors room, an under-the-sea room, and a high-tech room. The suite also features updated kitchens, furniture, outdoor seating and common areas.
“The hospitality suite exceeded our every expectation. It’s something the Village has desperately needed to help create the ‘perfect guest experience,'” said GKTW President and CEO Pamela Landwirth. “Families want to spend every moment possible enjoying our magical Village, right up until it’s time for their flight home. This suite will allow them to do so.”
On the day of the suite’s ribbon cutting, wish mom Carrie and her family were visiting the Village 13 years after being here with her son.
“I never thought the Village could get any better than when we were here,” she said. “I definitely think the suite is something we would’ve liked to use during our stay.”
You can see the suite’s transformation on the Florida broadcast show, Ready, Set, Renovate!, by clicking here.
Hosted by Elizabeth Hart, a former WKMG meteorologist, and produced by Florida Film & Tape, the show follows the renovation of the villa and gives a look at the inspiration behind the designs.
“It was a great opportunity to bring awareness to this organization,” said Hart. “To feel like you’ve had an impact on the lives of these children and families is unlike anything else.”
Give Kids The World is so grateful for the tremendous efforts of everyone who made the hospitality suite possible, and we’re so excited to give our families yet another way to feel at home at the Village.
