Congrats Graduating Wish Kids!

Over the past few weeks we have watched thousands of graduates celebrate one of the biggest milestones of their life virtually. Today we celebrate all the graduating wish kids who have called Give Kids The World home. And while 2020 has brought challenges, we know these kids and their families have battled through more than most ever will. Finding Hope: Wish Kid Lauren

I was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Wilm’s tumor when I was two. In 2001, my family and I stayed at Give Kids the World as part of my wish trip after a year of battling cancer. Although I was extremely young when my wish took place, I grew up with an amazing photo album that captured my memories and experiences! My wish trip gave my family a sense of normalcy and much needed time to breathe after a year of such extreme stress. (click for more)

Wish Family Joins Volunteers to Beautify the Village

Saturday mornings can be quiet at the Village, as wish families prepare for the day’s adventures and head off for the theme parks. But not last Saturday. On August 18, the Village was bustling with more than 1,100 volunteers from the Worker’s Compensation Institute (WCI), who arrived ready to beautify the Village.
